DENTAL IMPLANTS

Single Tooth Implant

Dental implants are a permanent and an advance solution to replace missing or extracted teeth. They are better than other alternatives like bridges because no additional teeth need to be altered to place the new tooth.

The entire implant process is performed over the course of a few months. The treatment starts with CBCT 3D scan.  A custom implant guide is made, which use to insert the implant with precision.  Multiple implants can be placed at once.

It takes about 4-6 months for the implant to heal, and during this time the jaw bone will form around the implant; this process is called osseointegration. During this healing time you can have temporary crowns to maintain a proper aesthetic appearance for your smile.

Implant Supported Prosthesis

An implant supported prosthesis is a dental bridge, a partial, or a denture that is connected and supported by multiple implants;  it can be fixed which is non-removable, all-on-6 dental implants or it can be removable to easy access for hygiene and home-care.

After the implant has healed an abutment and crown will be placed. The abutment serves as the base.  Crown can be cement or screw tighten into the abutment.  Your smile and function will be restored, and after a short period of getting used to the implant it will feel just like one of your own teeth.

Regular check up and cleaning around the implant is necessary to maintain healthy implant, surrounding gum and bone.

Mini Implant

Mini dental implants are about half the size in diameter of a regular dental implant. This offers many benefits, and they can also be used in situations where regular implants cannot. If an implant needs to be placed in a narrow space, mini implants are the preferred method because of their smaller size.

A main use for mini implants is most often use to support lower denture. A series of mini implants (4-6) are placed below the gum line and they fit into the base of the denture.

The lower denture is supported by lower jaw and the mini implants serve as retention, hold the denture in place.

The small size of mini implants often means that no incision needs to be made to place the implant. They can usually be inserted right through the gum into the bone. This eliminates the need for a recovery period, and the restoration can usually be placed right away or only a short time after.

Mini implants are also less expensive than regular implants.

Dental Implants: A Long-Lasting Solution for Missing Teeth

Dental implants are durable titanium posts that are surgically placed into the jawbone to replace missing tooth roots. They provide a stable, permanent foundation for crowns or dentures, offering a natural look and feel. With a high success rate, dental implants help preserve bone structure and restore normal oral function.
